A collection of essays by leading activists and scholars, edited by William Minter in collaboration with Imani Countess.
“This powerful collection of essays and documents on Africa highlights the rich history and vital importance of transnational solidarity. The message and lessons could not be more timely. And who better to curate this collection of voices than Bill Minter—anti-colonialist, anti-racist, and long-distance runner in the global fight for freedom.”
— Barbara Ransby, John D. MacArthur Chair and Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago, and author of Making All Black Lives Matter.

Imani Countess directed the project and collaborated in the selection of authors and crafting of the essays. William Minter served as the editor of the series and Zeb Larson assisted with the editing of several of the essays. The chapters in this book are the original text of the posts, as published.
